Default DX7 or DX6?

I was entertaining purchasing one of these two units soon and Im trying to decide if I need the DX7 or if a DX6 will be sufficient. I currently have a SlowStick and a micro cp heli, eventually I plan to fly a +.40 sized model. Will I really need all the offerings of the DX7 or can I get away with the DX6? Im not sure what other info to offer.

The DX7 is the only radio that is rated for larger then electric. It has been used in planes as large as 40%. Dennis

Larger than park fliers...
Buying new, I'd go for the DX-7
