Tuned pipes are designed for max hp and high rpms usually.... such as in speed or racing. Low end and torque may suffer.

Pipes and mufflers for the 46 should work and fit it fine. For economy and performance try a mac's one piece muffler. They are lightweight and a work of art.... and give a good power range.

I do not have any experience with the OS.50, but I have a Super Tiger Como .51 that I use a Mac's 8.5cc muffled tuned pipe on. I tried a 7.5cc but it was hard to get the needle set right, the extra volume of the 8.5 helped.

Hi Dave - Ohhh I was confused but now I see you are using the muffled TUNED PIPE, not the one piece mac's pipe or muffler.
