Default RC Pilot Options

Hey Guys,

I'm finished with my Funtana 90, and was wanting to put a pilot in it, but I wanted something different than the every day ones seen at local shops or online shops. Anyone have some links to some not so common pilots?

Thanks in advance, Greg

Search for Petes Pilots on Ebay. I've bought some pretty cool pilots from him. Shipping took less than a week.

Barbies work well! It seems sorta strange pushing her through the bandsaw though...

How wide and how tall a pilot can you put in the 90?

Thanks,

Gibbs

I found a puppet of Shari Lewis' Lambchop that fit just right in one of my canopys.

Take a look around the fabric chew toys at a pet store. All sorts of odd creatures, and they're cheap. Any lightweight character or critter will work. They toy section at a Dollar Store. If you want semi-scale draw a black full-face visor on a ping pong ball and you've got an air-force pilot in a helmet.

I got a slimline pilot called Curt for my FuntanaX 100. You can get it through Tower Hobbies. It's a nice looking figure. Plus it's painted.

Ya Gibbs,

I've looked at the Slimline pilots, "Curt" would be a possability I'm considering.... On the other hand, with my sense of humor, a Buzz lightyear toy would work as well as a Homer Simpson.

I guess I'm old fashioned. If I'm trying to make a plane look it's best then I think it should have a realistic pilot in it. These planes are not cheap and why put something funny in the plane to make it look foolish. Just my opinion. You guy's like funny pilots, it's what you like. To each and their own. I'll stick to real pilots.
