Anything thats fits an OS 46 will fit the TT46.

If you dont really need a full blown tuned pipe and are
only looking for a power boost consider trying the muffler
from the Tower 46. Its cheap, lightweight and will give
you about a 600 RPM boost over the stock muffler.

The TT46 runs really well on that muffler but it does
increase the fuel consumption considerably.

sse = Sig Somethin Extra?

If so I have one as well with a TT46 on it. You definitely do
not need or want a pipe on that. The SE is not meant to fly
fast. Its at its best at rather slow aerobatics.

If you have the stock landing gear try an APC 11.5 X 4.
This is a good combo and about the largest prop you
will have ground clearance for. Especially if you fly from grass.

If you go for a taller aftermarket landing gear try
an APC 12 X 4 or even the 12.25 X 3.75. These will give you
a bit better vertical.

The Somethin Extra is definitely NOT "boring to fly".

If you are sure you are going to crash I wouldnt invest in a tuned pipe. They generally come out to be more expensive the engine itself. Also if you are not real confident in your flying it really doesnt make much sense to try and get even more power out of an engine.

After crashing.... if you think flying a trainer is boring, not having a plane to fly will be even more boring.

You might want to try more of an intermediate aircraft like a midstar or a 4 star. A little more acrobatic than a trainer but not still fairly tame.

I have been flying for 4 years now and I have everything from 3D, to pattern, to speed planes and to me my trainer is still one of the most enjoyable planes I have.

I agree about the tower muffler, its a good easy upgrade for the ttpro 46.

Anyone know what the ideal speed prop is for this engine on a tuned pipe?
