what is a %MAC balance point, and how do you measure that on a wing? THis CG formula is quite useful.

For a graphical (no math) method of how to find the mean Aerodynamic Chord (MAC) see Paul Burke's website.

Default Here's a simple one

Last year I did a little science experiment with some extra Pattern wings and some spare parts, and made a flying wing model. You can read about it on my (non-commercial) web site at http://www.nextcraft.com/wing01.html

I piled it up, but I think it was pilot error rather than a design problem. I'll rebuild it this winter.

Build a PBF, it's basically a flying wing, uses a .25 and hundreds of us are having a blast hovering them.
