RE: Show us your flying field
I lost some pics of my field when I had to last "F-Disk" my computer. I forgot to burn the photo's to a disk. [] However, I did upload a video of me flying my Custom Wing Dragon from Hobby Lobby on a very windy day last summer. In the video you can see my clubs field. I enjoy mowing it and keeping it nice for the other members.

My wife did the filming with her digital camera, my video camera needs a battery and a new charger. That's me in the Video incase you didn't know.

Wow, lot's of nice land... a great place just to sit and have lunch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Sometimes I go to my field and don't even bring my plane. I just want to sit and enjoy it all, away from wife, kids work etc.[sm=thumbs_up.gif][sm=thumbs_up.gif][sm=thumbs_up.gif] It's a great way to escape without spending any money. All are great looking pics...keep em coming.

Here are some photos of my little triangle of heaven... this is the Aero Modelers of Perrine (AMPS) field. We have two runways, east/west and north south, covered areas, and a port-a-potty... frequency control and lots of open fields to fly around. David,
Good catch, I did not notice he was in the picture. We have a couple of cops in our club and they sometimes come to fly to unwind after a hard day on the Miami streets.

One of our members is a Heli nut and also a Master Chief in the Coast Guard stationed here in Traverse City. He was able to coax the guys out to the field for our Heli event. The small one in the pic is his, taxpayers own the Giant Scale [&o]

RE: Show us your flying field
Thanks Cloudancer03, we've been putting a lot of work into the field and we've still got a lot we'd like to do. We're starting to pick up a lot of new members now and that will help with manpower, etc. We're not on Rte. 8, we're between it and the village of Columbus. If you went straight in the middle of Columbus instead of turning right to go to New Berlin, you'd be on Co. Rte. 25 and we're right at the top of the hill. Look for our sign and stop in sometime! We've been planning to come and see your new field in Oneonta, hopefully a few of us will make it next summer. Having any winter flying events? -Dan
