Long-EZ Elevator Aileron control?
I just built my Long-EZ but the manual sucks and I don't know how to set up the Elevator and Ailerons?
Which way should the elevator move for the plane to lift/climb?
Which way should the ailerons move for the plane to turn right?
Control throws, is half an inch correct?
Thanks,
Clay

RE: Long-EZ Elevator Aileron control?
On the Long EZ the elevator is reversed from a "normal" plane. The Elevator should move DOWN for the plane to climb, and elevator UP for the plane to dive. The ailerons are the same as everything else. Right aileron up is a right turn, left aileron up is a left turn.

RE: Long-EZ Elevator Aileron control?
Thanks, that was a big help.
Boy this manual is really really bad, no where does it state which side of the wing goes up and the pictures are so bad you can't tell.
Am I correct in assuming the wing is supposed to be mounted servo side down?
I flew it once with the wing servo side up and it flew fine until I cut the engine and it stalled badly, landed hard and tore off the landing gear.
