What are the ingredients in glow fuel?
The label on my fuel jug says there is 10% nitromethane and 20% caster oil. Just curious, what’s the other 70%?

And about 3% water. "Pure" alcohol is hydroscopic. As soon as it is exposed to air (and I don't mean when you open the jug) it sucks up moisture.

Methanol, oil, and a bit of nitro. Some stabilizers and anti-foaming agents. Thats about it.

RE: What are the ingredients in glow fuel?
Hello everyone, I have been working (programing Trans and Receiv) on a 84" Gas goldberg tiger .60 for a couple of weeks. I have the hitec eclipse 7 trans and hitec receiver...I have read the manual and I have a problem the manual doesn't seem to address. Everthing is working except for one thing. The wing has ailerons and flaps. The aileron servos are working fine Chan 1 and 6. The 2 flap servos are not. (total 4 wing servos) The trans radio has a knob for lowering flaps Ch7 on receiver. Lower by turning knob. Or I could use the Ch5 landing gear switch since I have no remote landing gear. The problem is niether channel 5 nor 7 will operate the flap servos. Big plane need the flaps working since they are there. The flap servos have to be y ed together I am guessing, is there a certain way to do that and has anyone had this problem. I want to fly it this weekend since it is suppose to be 71deg Saturday here in Alabama, but if nothing else I have a Nexstar the flys cool...Appreciate any help..
