Default Using Monocote on Fiberglass ????

Hello RCer,
First of all let me say I really enjoy watching you guys do your thing!
I have a question pertaining to MONOCOTE. I am building an AC Cobra 427 Kit Car. I want to add stripes to the car (either before OR after painting) that are CHROME looking. I don't want to use a decal/sticker material because I live in Myrtle Beach, SC and the sun is MURDER,... and I can't find paint that will reflect like Chrome... it all looks like grey or silver paint... not the same effect.

Someone suggested monocote.... and what better place to find some answers about the material than here???

Is it possible to get monocote to adhere to gelcoated fiberglass ?

can a clear coat be sprayed over it??

what is the widest and longest rolls available???

Any tips/suggestions/advise will be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks.

Please reply here,.. or e-mail me at:
