Default balancing

I have a showtime 90 and the directions say to mark the CG at 7 and so inches back on the top wing so do I have to turn the model upside down to measure that I forgot ???????????? I thought it was upside down and for high wings right side up??????????

Default RE: balancing

generally high wings you check right-side-up and low wings you check upside-down

Default RE: balancing

with the showtime 4d you balance the model upright. Just measure 7 11/16th (i believe i have mine setup) from the leading edge.
DmcQuinn is correct about how to balance the model. Usually I balance all mid wings and highwings upright and low wings upsidedown. The showtime 4d is a midwing so you balance it upright. Hope this helps.
