Default Lost Transmitter, help

Hey, I picked up a cheap RC plane called a power airsurfer but the remote is missing .
Is there a trick to modifying another remote to make it fly?
Any Ideas, its brand new , 2 rechargable batterys and 2 motors.

Possibly the receiver has the channel or frequency number on it. Once this is determined, any transmitter (they're called transmitters and not remotes) that operates on this channel or frequency will operate this airplane.

Thanks Mode One. I tried my 27 hz Air hog plane transmitter that has variable prop control but it may be too sophisticated for this air surfer.

From what I can tell The air surfer is 27hz and has 3 buttons. one button both props, left button makes left prop go and right button makes right prop goes, so it is pretty simple. I'm going to see if If I have and RC car controllers laying around. SC
