Clear coat over Monokote?
I'm having issues with one of my planes where fuel from engine exhaust is getting under monokote well downstream on the fuselage. I've already repaired, but the same thing is repeating itself. Re-directing/lengthening engine exhaust would not fully alleviate the problem.
Can you spray Lusterkote clear or some other clear coat over Monokote to prevent fuel from seeping under the seems?

Clear coat over Monokote?
I have used Lusterkote over ARF "iron-on/sticky-back" (not Monokote specific) coverings to protect their graphics and it seemed to work OK. Can't hurt!!

Works for me
I have used Lusterkote over monokote to seal the edges from fuel often, It works fine. Be sure to rough up the area you are spraying with some 000 steel wool first or the paint will peel off after a short time.
