Default transmitter case

I'm looking for a single transmitter case- where do I find a good case that will last and give my transmitter protection. I only need a case that will hold one radio seeing I have a computer radio & I can fly six planes with the one radio. Thanks & DON'T CRASH!!

Dave: Tower Hobbies offers a plastic case for about $20. It is strudy. I have used it for several years and it is still in very good condition. Actually it is a gun case, made by Doskocil.
Happy landings Tony

Dave: got mine at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods. It is a plastic pistol case and already has foam rubber inside. Works great for me and cost only $10.

If you have a Lowe's home supply store in your area, they have an absolute fine case for $19.99. It's riveted aluminum, has foam padding inside. Makes the plastic gun cases look positivly cheesy. I looks as good as the expensive Futaba, and JR Cases. They will hold two transmitters.

This is a little late but if you have an Harbor Freight in your town then go there, hands down this is the best deal. It is marked for $19.99 but I walked out with only paying $9.99. All inserts are made of foam and are removeable including the screw driver holder on the led it is also removable.

Oops I forgot to add the link.

Default Foam

Where can you buy the foam rubber to put in one of these cases from Lowe's? I am getting the case, but need the foam.

Thanks,
Herb

Try a Hobby store like Michael's or hobby lobby, some place like that. I was lucky enough to grab a bunch of it when we received a shipment of laptops where I work. Might also give walmart a shot at that as well.
