I met Steve at Toledo this year. He seems like a great guy! I am so glad that he is keeping his fathers legacy alive. What great guys!

Plan number #1305 from RCM plans service. It was featured in the January 2002 issue of RCM magazine. I have had two of them and been very happy with them both. Watch your build technique though, as the ones I have built were tail heavy. It is a Hot Hots. There are several versions of Hots, any of which are good flyers.

I have built 2 original Hots, 2 Super Hots, an Ultra Hots.... And I scaled up the original Hots plan to a 72" wingspan. I built 5 of them with different engines. Also, check out Don Muddimans Flying Machine. It is very similar to a Hots and has the most wild flying characteristics of any plane I have ever seen! Ever seen a blender done at full throttle? The Flying Machine does them easily! Straight down, over 100 MPH... Then the plane snaps so violently into a slow decending flat spin that you'll swear the wings are going to rip off! The snap roll is so fast that the Flying Machine is just a spinning blur

Gotta love the Hots! I flew them in the 80's overseas and they were (are) the ultimate. Still have a 1986 Super Hots NIB and 1988 Ultra Hots NIB with 1987 ST3000 NIB (boat anchor).
