Default Saito Muffler Stripped ??

I was wondering if anyone has ever had any success at glueing the nippple back in a saito muffler. I have tried JB Weld, silver solder,Epoxy putty. I now have drilled a small hole through the nipple and wrapped wire through the nipple and around the muffler and then put some RTV on it. I have not flown it yet with the wire ,but all the other ways failed a few minutes after starting. As soon as it falls out the engine quits.

Drill and tap a new hole and fill the old one with JB weld.

I had the same problem.
I ended up getting an aftermarket nipple (Dubro I think) and using tweezers to thread and JB Weld a nut on from the inside, so I could really tighten it down. It was a PITA, but it has held fine.
The thin metal on the muffler just does not have enough thickness for effective threads.

Many engines run fine without muffler pressure; richen it up and try it.
