RE: GMS engines
Have you considered an SK engine? [link=http://www.kangkeusa.com/skengines.htm]SK Engines[/link]
I have 2 of their .91s and mine run great. They do have larger sizes.
The SK 1.10 is $120 with mufler
The SK 1.30 is $140 with muffler
Both were designed for large props.

RE: GMS engines
Cotman - I have a 478, a 61 and two 76 GMS engines and so far have no complaints. The 76 is really strong. I have a friend that put me onto them and he has had good luck with them as well. I can't give you any first hand experience with the 120, but I saw something in RCU (don't remember the forum title) that thought their 120 was far inferior to their smaller engines.
Whatever you do, remember that "Experience is a hard teacher. She always gives the test first and the lesson sometime later!

RE: GMS engines
I run a GMS 120 on my Seagull Harrier 90 with a 16-4W prop and a Bisson muffler. I had a problem with it flaming out on acceleration until I used an OS A-3 plug which cured it. It's advertised at 3.3 horsepower and I don't think it's quite that strong.
I also had the carb pinch bolt come loose in flight and had little control of the throttle. That was a matter of running it til it was outa gas. I threadlocked it after that.
