Kyosho 40 size Pitt Special control throws and CG
Can anyone tell me the recomended CG and throws for the Kyosho 40 size Pitt Special. Pick up a used one, and was all over the place today when I flew it. Any flying tips would be nice too.
Thanks

I have a Nitro models Pitts 40 size and it was a handful on first flight with 25% expo, I uped it to 40% expo and it calmed it down pretty well but a pitts in such a small size by any manufacturer is going to be a wild little plane and lots of fun. I have about 1/4" throw on low rates for the ailerons and it rolls pretty fast with that much so I would start someplace close to that and adjust as needed for your flying style. Also about 1/2" on low rates for the elevator also.

Dauntae,
Thanks. A guy at the field suggested 1/4" on the rudder do to the short fuselage, any more can get you in trouble during take off and landing.

My maiden went well. The cg was at 5" I think I will move it back to 5.25". It is fun to fly and looks great too. [
