Will this work well ?
I want to put my OS 55 AX on a Ultra Stick 60. Enough power? The plane calls for a 60 2 stroke to a 91. The 55 is light with higher RPM. Your Thoughts Anyone?

How do you want to fly it? If you are content with flying around the traffic pattern / very mild aerobatics it will be enough. If you want the airplane to perform moderate aerobatics or more, it will not be enough.

... Not to mention you'll have to throw the battery, radio and as many servos as you can toward the front to achieve the correct CG. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd have to add a couple ounces of lead to get it to ballance out right.

The .55-AX is a great engine. It's perfect for putting in place of a .46 for more power. I wouldn't run it on a .60 size plane though unless it was a trainer or something. For your application, take a look at the new .75-AX. Same mounting dimensions as a .60 and more power.

if you are going to go with it, i agree with bummin, put everything way up front, if you have the money just get a larger engine, maybe even over a .91 for some serious power
