zpoxy problems??
ok here i go; i used zpoxy to lay down 1.5 oz fiberglass the first time everything went great, but i sanded thru the glass is 2 areas. so i put another light coat of zpoxy down. it's been 6 weeks since i put the zpoxy on and it still is not cured. it was mixed just like before and the weather has been close to the same just alittle warmer. Dose zpoxy have a shelf life?? the time between the two usages was around 4 months.[&o]

RE: zpoxy problems??
Yes; Zpoxy does have a shelf life but it is measured in years.
It sounds like you just got a bad mix going. It should have cured in 30 minutes and been ready to sand in a day.
Personally; I would scrape off the uncured stuff and try again. Just watch the mixture a little closer this time.
If you are looking to put a very thin coating on my favorite method is to mix up a small batch and then add some methol hydrate until the mixture takes on a consistancy of "Thick cream". Then, (using a disposable brush) paint the mixture on - the methal hydrate evaporates and leaves a very thin mixture of z poxy that will cure in and hour. (great for fuel proofing too)
Good luck!

If you mixed it anything waxy - like a paper cup - it will not cure.
