RE: Ace servos,any good?
Ace has been around for a real long time, 20-30 years, maybe longer. Might be (or have been) more popular here in the states then elsewhere, I'm uncertain of this. They did make kits at one time (Ace Seamaster) and I think had a complete radios system at one time. To be competitive in todays market a manufacturer's products must be at least as good as the competition's.
I see Ace still advertizing in the major publications and a series of new servos has been recently offered within the last few years. I have no experience with them; however, with the experience I've had with Ace products, I wouldn't hesitate to buy and use Ace servos.
