RE: RCM Plans. Looking for a biplane
BankYank,
I have three RCM plans I'm not going to use:
1) 76" Lazy Ace, Chuck Cunnigham
2) 52" Wayfarer, Don Dewey
3) 58" Tiger Moth, Don Prentice
PM me if you're interested in any.

How about the HOTS Bipe. I can't remember if the plans are in RCM or Model Airplane news plans service. You'll have to check their web site.
Or perhaps a Pheaton 90 from Balsa USA. I think you can get the plans or a kit from them.

RE: RCM Plans. Looking for a biplane
I just ordered a Phaeton 90 Kit from GravesRC. I am on the fence as to putting a 4 stroke 90 or a 120 on it. Can someone recommend an engine ? I am considering the Saito, Magnum and OS Surpass. Cost is not a big factor. Would there be any down-side to the 120 ? The smallest gasoline engines are in the same price range but weigh 1 1/2 pounds more and I am guessing would be too much stress for this plane. This plane is 70" x 1576 sq in x 11-12 pounds.
What would be the major difference between a 4 stroke and a Super Tiger G90 2 stroke ? I don't own any 4 strokes at present.
This kit has to be one of the best deals out there.

BankYank,
My dad is currently finishing a Pitts Biplane from McFarland plans. 60 inch wing (upper) all scratch built. Will probably weight around 10lbs with the SuperTigre 2300 in it and the cowl from Cermark's Pitts fits it pretty well. Haven't flown it yet but I have some pictures of it in the bones if you're interested.

Bob,
Please practice a little self control.
The AMA has the original WACO YMF/UMF plans and parts templates available for the 1/5th scale model. This one is a 72" wingspan version. It really builds nicely, and you can use a variety of engines on it.

BANKYANK, take a look at the Waco YMF thread, Vintage & Antique RC here. You will find the biplane you are looking for. Once you start reading the posts of the great bunch of guy's in the Waco Brotherhood it will be a long time before you think about any other plane.
