Default Help to source flap hinges

Hi, my first post on this site, hope someone can help me please.

I am looking to source some plastic hinges (preferrably in the UK) I have seen used on an RC plane (possibly a YT international Hurricane flap hinge) which I can use for the opening doors on a scale RC helicopter. This may sound like an odd request, but the attached image shows the type of hinges I am looking for. It's taken from the Vario web site who make scale helis and accessories but are very expensive (their door fitting set is £22 for 4 doors!) I wondered if there was something similar used by aeroplane builders.

Thanks

Thanks bako. They look close enough. I will give them a try.

Anyone tried their Lipos or done business with them?

Any other hinge sources still welcome.

I have used their lipos (4S 4100 mah ) with no problems. I do not beat on them though. Yesterday (11/1/07 ) they got in a fresh supply. 4S 4100 mah is about $75 - $76.

Thanks guys.

I've had a good look at the united hobbies web site and it's very good. I've ordered some hinges and other small items to see how it goes. I will most likely return to order some Lipos soon.

Now to find those SIG hinges.

Great forum

the only problem with united hobbies is delay between your order and shipment, thay have over 1600 orders per week and thats why they'r experiensing problems.
