Satio 180 - No High RPM -Need Help
I have a Satio 180 (4-stroke) it ran fine. I had to take the cowling off (and the needle valve out) to replace the glow plug, when I replaced the needle valve the engine would not run well at high speed. It seemed as if it was sucking air or had some sort of restriction in the fuel line. I cleaned the carb and it did not help. I can almost unscrew the needle valve all the way out without the engine getting too rich and it never comes up to full RPM. I am out of ideas, please give me some help to solve this problem. It seems to be way too lean with no way to richen it up. The needle valve has no o-ring on it, is it supposed to? Thanks

Sounds like you have an air leak. If you have had the carb off , it may be leaking at the intake manifold where the carb fits. It uses an o-ring and I have had them leak , causing a lean run .
The o-ring on your HS needle is inside the HS needle thumb screw , it rest against a small spring. Look down inside the needle and you should see it.
From your description , it sounds like your sucking air some where.
