Spektrum DX7 Tx making 'chirping' noise!!!
Hi all.
I just got my DX7 today and charged her up almost all the way (5 hours of charging) as I wanted to bind the Rx etc.
Anyways, the Tx is making a faint 'chirping' sound, and it's a constant sound irregardless of if I move the sticks or play with the menu functions.
It's very faint, but I can hear it.
Has anyone else had this before??
Everything else works fine, the menu functions well, it bound to the Rx with no issues, all controls work flawlessly etc, it's just that this sound has me a bit concerned.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Sean

G'day Sean,
It is the voltage regulator inside, it is normal, BUT, If you are using the wall charger to charge your DX7, you will need at least 30 hours of charge time, it is a 1500Mah NiMh battery, don't skimp on the charging.
Charge it slow, & you will get a long time between charges. see here.
