JR going slow on 2.4 ghz radios? how long to wait for 6102 -2.4 ghz
i have a JR 6102. The whole RC world is looking upwards to 2.4 GHZ radios which in all probability will dominate the RC world in the next 24 months.
JR has now started shipping of its 9303 2.4 ghz, which is the only product in JR stable in 2.4 ghz for now. to switch from 6102 to 9303 i may have to win a lottery. JR even now is promoting scan select tech in its 7 channel offering 7202.
i feel JR has to speed up and match the competition with 2.4 GHZ offerings on 6,7 channel Radios / upgrade options for all radios to 2.4 GHZ ( that is too much to ask).
some start in this regard is very much appreciated.
I love my JR.................

Negative sir,
They are not slow they have a dx7 which is a 7 channel if your looking for the 6/7 channel id look no further. They have no reason to redesign a complete radio system right now most peole will just step up to 7 channel.
and you can get a conversion module for the 6102 if you already have one...

do yourself a favor and go with the spektrum dx-7 there is almost no difference in the dx-7 and the x9303 outside of the obvious channel difference, if you don't need 9 channels then get the dx-7! it is a wonderful system, just wish the rx's weren't so expensive!

if you dont need the channel *OR* the mixing capabilities than go for the dx7 i don't need 9 channels but i got it for the simple reason i wanted the extra mixes (btw i have the original 9303)

whether conversion module is avilable for 6102 for 2.4 ghz ? i want to switch over to a full 2.4 ghz system but at a lower entry cost compared to 9303. any suggestions? i am aware futaba has the products already in place.
