Default From trike to tail dragger

Gidday fellow fliers,
I'm in the process of building a second Brumby 40 trainer, the first had a major mishap. This time round I'd like to do something a little different and have a tail dragger instead of the trike undercarriage. Rather then going out and buying the assembly, I'd like to make my own. If anyone has any hints with diagrams I'd vey much like to view them. I've almost completed the fuse with the forward undercarriage block placed directly under the leading edge of the wing. In all photos of other planes I've seen, this appears to be the appropriate spot. I thought of incorporating the tail wheel with the rudder but I don't believe the hinges would support the assembly. Anyway I'll leave it up to the experts out there to set me straight. Thanks in advance for any help. John Flynn. The flying doctor.

Default No replies yet.

I've looked at past posts but none are of much help. I'd some detailed instructions perhaps with pics. Oh well I tried. Thanks for nothing so far. Chow for now.
