4 Star 40 question
Hello all, I have been out of the hobby for a couple of years. The last plane I had was a sig four star 60 with os 90 four stroke, I really enjoyed that plane.
I am looking at the forty size four star and was wondering if the os 70 four stroke was to much motor for the plane? I guess most would say go with the 52 four stroke, I am not shure how power difference there is in the two engines.

RE: 4 Star 40 question
hi
currently flying the 4 star 40 with a saito 56 four stroke. this engine has plenty of power for this plane. a 70 would be flyable but a lot more power than needed.
good luck and happy flying

RE: 4 Star 40 question
I think the 70 would work great! Mine has flown most recently with a Saito 82, lots of fun. Have also had a Saito 45 on it, still fun flying on the wing. Other engines that have pulled it around are ST51, TT46Pro, 52 Magnum 4st.

RE: 4 Star 40 question
Mine has an OS 52 and it's plenty of power. I had to move the battery to the back to get it to balance. So with a 70 you might run into weight and balance problems.
