Taube 40 control throws & CofG
Purchased a previously enjoyed Taube 40, I think from BUSA kit. No servos, and no manual. Can anyone give me the recommended elevator and rudder deflections, and CofG ??
Thanks,
John

I can help you with your questions. I have a Balsa USA Taube 40 kit. Here's what the construction manual says:
On the control surface throws:
Elevator - 1/2" up and down
Rudder - 1 3/4" right and left
Here's a direct quote from the manual regarding the CG:
"The model should balance at the CG shown on the plans. This position is
3 3/4" behind the leading edge at the center of the wing".

Thank you very much linclogs. I mounted the servos last night and have far too much travel control surfaces ! Will make the adjustments tonight to recommended travels. Also CofG will help for nice stable flight !
Thanks again,
