Four stroke question
I have a quick question. I have always put after run oil in my cars. I just purchased a CAP 580 and have an OS 70 fourstroke in it and it fits perfectly. The oly way to ad after run oil is to remove the prop, spinner and cowling. Do I need to use after run oil in a four stroke?

RE: Four stroke question
Ive never used after run oil and never had a problem with any of my OS engines running properly. This includes long and short term storage. I just make sure I burn all the fuel out of the engines after Im done with them.

RE: Four stroke question
I can get to the glow plug only if I remover the spinner, prop, and cowling. So it should be okay if it doesnt sit for more than a month?

RE: Four stroke question
Guess I’m gonna go against the grain here and say I use after-run oil consistently. Does it do any good? I know it doesn't hurt and it makes me feel better. Any how for four strokes I use a syringe and shoot oil into the crank case breather, then turn the prop over a few times.
