Default Glue???

Aliphatic resin glue well be slightly heavier than Ca, but has much better shear strength. I developed an alergy to CA after several years and now use Aliphatic resin for almost everything. When I have to use Ca I open both doors (shop is in the garage) and turn on a large floor mounted fan. I use a drop or two of Ca in the middle of a part that is hard to pin or clamp to hold the peice until the wood glue dries.

Default Glue???

Alphatic resin may be very slightly heavier than CA but is much stronger and handles shock loads (read that hard landings) much better. Any good glue joint requires good fitting of parts, i.e. no gaps.
