Default Motor for Mini Magic Extra

I purchased A Modeltech Mini Magic Extra at the AMA show in Ontario and would like opinions on the motor that I plan on using in it. First, I'm not planning on doing any 3D flying, just simple aerobatics. The motor is from Hobby People and is a KMS 31/21 1750 KVA Brushless. With 11 volts and a 10.5" prop it's supposed to draw about 115 watts @ 11.25 amps. My plane ready to fly should weigh appx 28 ounces and has 368 sq. in. of wing area with a 35.5 inch span. I know that for 3D it wouldn't be the hot set-up, but how would it be for just general flying and goofing off? Money is sort of tight so I would like to use this motor as I already have it. Think that it might work alright?
