What kind of PAINT to use on foam?
Hi. I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but since it has to do with building/refinishing, I'll ask it here.
What kind and brand of paint is recommended to paint a foam wing...such as the wing on a Parkzone Slo-v, skyfly, or the Hobbyzone Freedom Firebird?
Thanks
Rob

I suggest latex paint. It will not damage the foam, it is light compared to many other paints, inexpensive and easy to apply. I suggest either spraying or a foam brush for application. Be aware that flat latex take 10 -14 days to "cure" and semi-gloss or gloss take about 21+ days to cure depending on the temperature and humidity. By curing, if you press your finger firmly on a hard spot and a fingerprint remains, the paint has not finished curing. The fingerprint will disappear in a couple of days.

Now were talking. Thanks for all the good suggestions. I will check to see if they have the H20, otherwise I'll try the acrylic craft paint. We have plenty of that. Thanks again.
