Default jr rx battery connection

i have a jr radio system i just bought an aftermarket battery pack for the rx. my new battery has a universal type plug so im not sure witch way to plug it into the rx. it has a red wire in the center and black on the outside. i can use the servos for reference on how to plug it in but they have a red center wire and a orange and brown wire on the outside. if i knew which wire was the ground, the brown or orange? i would be ok. please help! thanks mark...

Black/brown is the ground. Red wire is your positive lead. For JR connectors the orange wire is signal, but that doesn't come into play for a battery connection.

Because on most recievers the battery connection is also the last channel of the reciever. You can actually plug the battery into any of the channel connections on the receiver and it will work perfectly fine. If you need to use all the channels of the receiver for servos you can connect a Y-harness into the last channel, put the servo on one side of the Y-harness, and the battery on the other side of the Y-harness.
