Default Servo tape-no stick?

Put together my first ''foamie'' using servo tape on the micro servos. I have two different rolls/sizes and used both. Problem is the stuff is not sticking to the servos! Is there some trick to getting this stuff to keep the servos on? Not very reassuring when flying-little servos dangling off the plane!

Clean the servo cases with alcohol or glass cleaner. Depending on your application, you can glue the servos in.

Clean the servos with alcohol and then lightly scuff them for extra grip. Hot glue is the way to go. It holds well and doesnt leave any tape residue on the servos when you are done.
