Default Minor problem with SpringAir retracts.

I have a SpringAir retract that is operating in a sticky fashion, will not extend fully. I mislaid the instructions but seem to remember that I shouldn't use oil on it. Can anyone tell me the approved way to clean and free up the piston. Thanks.

Default Minor problem with SpringAir retracts.

Here's what the instructions say for the set of Spring Air retracts I have:

"The Spring Air landing gear is designed to operate without lubrication of the mechanical parts. Remove gear occasionally to clean free of dirt and dust. Reinstall dry. A dry gear accumulates less dirt and grit".
