Default Magnum .91 RFS exhaust nut size

I've got a .91 RFS and need to replace one of the exhaust pipe jam nuts. I've tried local fastener supply houses and noone seems to know what size this nut is or how to replace it. It's a shame as I was planning to maiden a new plane this weekend and now this project is back on hold due to the oddity of this part. Anyone know what size this nut is? I've emailed Global Hobby but haven't received a response yet. Thanks.

I believe that is the same as the one that uses the OS 91 Four Stroke.

I looked the OS parts up on Tower's site and they list the nuts as m11x.75mm but they only come with the exhaust header as a set and it sells for $14. That's a lot of dough for a nut. I can't find any online fastener sites that carry that oddball size. That's strange.

Yes it will be hard to find as those parts seems to be metrical, I remember that I bought that piece for my Magnum 120, but I did it looking to have a spare part because I wanted to make a hole at the exhaust header tube to use it with a smoke system. That was a personal preference, I wanted to have the original tube untouch.

The Magnum header and 2 nuts is $11.99 from Hobby People:

If the OS part will fit, it is available individually for $1.89.

It's on backorder at Tower, though, so it's probably hard to get.

Thanks, fellas! Looks like I've got to break down and order a new pipe/nut combo and delay my flying for a while. The LHS which is 60 miles away has it in stock, but it's cheaper just to pay the shipping from Tower than drive that far these days. I appreciate your help with the matter.

Why don't you call Global Hobby (714-963-0329), the Magnum distributor, or e-mail them (service@globalhobby.net) and see if they'll sell you the nuts without the header. It's Magnum part number 80-D1 for the whole header/nut set maybe they've got some spare nuts floating around.

They replied to my email today and will only sell the nuts/pipe as a set. Go figure. Thanks.
