Default GP 1/4 Scale Wagstaff Servos?

Just getting ready to begin the configuration of a Great Planes Patty Wagstaff 1/4 scale.
Equipped with a Moki 2.10 and Robart hinged surfaces.
Which "HITEC" servo combinations would be within $$$$$ reason for performance/price?
Rudder is presently set up for pull push using a HS-5955TG.
Radio equipment is DX7 with ar7000 maybe upgrading to a ar9000 to do flaps for landing as well as Aerobatics? Or is that possible with a ar7000?
Any suggestions would be appreicated.
Thanks,
James

I used jr 126mg metal gear servo $34 a piece. Dx7 that is a spectrum radio isn't it I believe jr is compatable with spectrum, should not need any flaps plane lands fine comes in nice and slow flys like a big trainer I love mine good luck with yours.

The DX7 is a 7 channel transmitter, the AR7000 is the 7 channel receiver to be used with that radio. The AR9000 is a 9 channel receiver and will only act as a 7 channel with that particular radio if I'm not mistaken. The AR7000 has more than enough channels to operate your aircraft. If you use your ailerons as flaperons you need to hook the right ail. servo into the Aux. 1 port and the left ail. into the ail. port on the receiver (check the DX7 manual for this, I may have it backwards) Then, your 3 pos. flap switch activates the ailerons as flaps and you can still use the ail. for their intended purpose. This will take a little programming. This is not exactly the same as true flaps and doesn't lend to the stability part that true flaps do. If you are altering the craft to have both tru flaps and ailerons, then hook up the flaps into the aux 1 port and the ailerons into the ail port.

i have the exact same setup, Moki 2.10 and Hitec servos. i will check the servos models #'s and post them here later. sorry, i don't remember the exact #'s right now. i have a single servo (pull pull) for the rudder and of course 2 servos each for the elevator and ailerons.

There was/is A sale going on at Servo City and there were A couple of very good servos on sale there with some outstanding prices.
I really need some new servos, just don't have any new money.[&o]

dhal22,
Thanks that would be a great help as well as a good starting point. I would like to get your input on how your setup does. Does it fly with AUTHORITY? I would assume it does but any and all input on your setup would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James
