Default picked up a never used, OS FS-61 4 stroke..

Paid $50 for it.. Never used, still in original box, etc.

2 questions..

1) It is devoid of the throttle arm assembly. Where can I get a replacement for this?

2) what's a good ARF to match this engine (consider my altitude, 6500' (Denver area)) Would consider aerobatic, and or warbirds.. Moderate experience level.

When it is all said and done this engine will almost be the equilavent of a 40 two stroke.
The power is different since you need to keep the rpm in check, I would not exceed 10.5 k and prefer to keep four strokes propped just under 10k. You can probably expect 9000 - 9700 rpm with a 12x6 prop.
I would try Tower Hobbies or the OS website for parts.

Last weekend I was playing with props and I put a 12x6 on an OS 46LA and it spun 9500 rpm.
This was on a World Models Skyraider Mach II that weighs under 4 lbs.
I liked the 10x6 and 11x6 props turning more rpm a lot better than the 12x6.
I think any plane over 4 lbs will be to much for the engine to haul around.
I am in the Dallas TX area and we are at about 500' elevation.

Here is the parts listing for the carburetor
http://www.osengines.com/parts/xr45681000.html
I have no idea if any of the parts are still available

I had one of there in the 80's (I still have it)

I turned a 12x6 on it back then flying a 40 telemaster.
If I remember it turned 9500 rpm.

I had planned to put it into an Aero-works 40 size Edge 540

Up here I'd try a 12.25x3.75 APC prop on that plane and motor.
