Default ornamental plants at your field

I've always thought that flying fields were just about the prettiest places on earth. And I hope there are flying fields in heaven. They seem almost like a park to me. And since gardening is one of my hobbies, I was wondering if any clubs have any ornamental plants located at their field ? Seems like a natural to me.

Nothing ornamental. Grass, weeds, and cedar trees strategically planted by birds.

Ornamental? I'm happy when the weeds get mowed!

Seriously, we have a bit of rare air near Atlanta. Surrounded by open ground, pine trees, deer, rabbits, coyotes and hawks. That's ornamental enough for me

Somebody planted these flowers around our solar battery box. It definitely made it more cheerful looking. We never did figure out who planted them.

Something ornamental at the flying field would be real nice, but it causes two problems who to plant it in the first place and who would take care of it.

Like mentioned already we're lucky just to get the grass mowed on a regular basis. Then if somebody uses the weed trimmer along the fence and such, there must be an event coming up. [)]

We're on a capped landfill, so we're not allowed to dig holes any deeper than our engines can penetrate.

Nope, no ornamental plants here. Just miles of spruce, cedar and alders surrounding a big field of grass, moss and wild strawberries (that you don't dare eat, cause it's a landfill).

Mmmmmm... Dumpberries!

Do tails of planes sticking up from the ground count?

I kid you not, I have no sense of humor at all. [)] Well, maybe just A little one. And yes, I was the pilot. The landing was perfect, no bounce at all, the roll out was great, right in front of my feet. I was so intent watching the plane when I noticed the board and where the plane was heading, I had full up and left, the plane just bounced the tail and kept going straight. I was so intent watching it I forgot about pushing down. Not all that much damage really.
I call this photo: The Only Tree In The Forest!! Just think what I could do with some landscaping around me.

Yeah, at our field we have some plants out by the road in front of our sign. These are taken care of at the yearly "May Field Maintance Day" that everybody comes out to and make the field a little better to look and fly at.
