hobbico quick field charger mk2
I have a hobbico quick field charger mk 2 and when charging a 6 v 2500mha NiMH batttery after charging for awhile the charge ports led flashes red and green accompanied by audible warning tone.If i shut the charger off and turn it back on again it is fine for a couple hours and then does the same thing again. The manual says it could be a connection problem or reverse polarity but neither is the case. The charger and battery are both only about 3 months old and I am charging at a low rate of 0.4 amps. Also the battery i am using to run the charger has 12.5 volts.Does anyone know whats causing this problem. Thanks

RE: hobbico quick field charger mk2
What type of battery are you using to power and charge?
I use this type of battery:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXL370&P=0
When it is fully charged should be around 13.4 Volts., if it is at 12.5 volts like you said, it is already discharged.
Try a different battery like the one from your car maybe that will solve the problem.
