Ouch!! That's gotta hurt.

Here's the easy and effective fix. Clean the areas of interest very well with some denatured alcohol. Align the cracks back together as best as you can, then use thin CA and apply some of it from the inside of the pant were the crack occurred. Proceed in re-strengthening the areas with some fiberglass cloth using CA or epoxy resin. If you want the pant to look pristine again you gonna have to sand the outside areas and re-apply the silver paint.

Hope this helps.

To avoid thin CA running down the outside of the wheelpant and spoiling your paint job, you can put some clear packing tape on the outside of the pant over the crack and apply the glue from the inside. Once the CA has hardened, carefully peel off the tape. Just be careful you don't peel off the paint. But then, you are going to repaint anyway. At least you will still avoid having to sand any stray glue off. Good Luck!

Wheel pants get a lot of abuse from grass.... all the tips above were good. In addition I would sand paint off in the inside/outside of damaged area after CAing to assure a good epoxy bond. Use 1 layer of 4 - 6 OZ cloth on the inside of cracks and 1 layer of 1.5 -2 oz on the outside of cracks. Sand/blend in outside cloth edges... fill weave... prime and re-paint. You can use a good autobody lightweight filler coat like EverCoat (get it at you local auto paint store) to help you feather in the repair and eliminate any remaining booboos(great stuff... sands very smooth like butter). You are fortunate as your breaks are very minor and easy to repair.... with a little patience and effort some really shattered FG cowls, pants and fuses can be repaired to like new condition and strength.
