Is this radio worth anything? or is it junk? It has never been used. It looks really cool

Well, it is sort of obsolete. A bit on the heavy side now. As I remember, Futaba used to make much of the stuff for Model Rectifier. And thus if one component goes bad you can substitute another make of stuff.

I have the same exact radio, as a matter of fact. And it's only value is as a paper weight, or a museum item. While it might still work as a Radio Control (mine still does) it is illegal to use because it does not meet today's standards for RC radios. This radio is not narrow band compliant and should not be used anywhere near an active RC field as it puts out a signal that can actually interfer with 3-5 different channels at the same time.

You don't want to use it, but don't trash it. Somebody on Ebay will buy it, and you'll probably get anywhere from $25-$40 depending on the condition. I've sold several obsolete radios (as such) and they always seem to fetch about that amount. I guess there are people who just collect them??

Thanks for the info. Im not going to use it . I just need space and have a bunch of stuff i dont use anymore
