What Happened to Balsarite?
There was a thread on the rec.models.rc.air newsgroup back in January where someone said that Tower and a LHS told them the product was discontinued due to hazardous chemicals in it. I don't remember if anyone ever confirmed the story or not, but there was a lot of discussion about substitute materials. You might want to search on groups.google.com.

This is just out house talk but someone said it was because of a labeling problem something about it causing bad health problems in California and their wasn't a warning on the lable.
I ran out of it and bought a can of Stixit...seems to work as good as BalsaRite for MicaFilm...We'll find out when it's in the air..if great big pieces of white stuff comes floating down I'll know it didn't work

:sunsmiley it is used to make fabric bond much better to the airframe, you apply it with a brush, let it dry over night , litely sand to smooth it of, then you put your fabric on with your iron,, it`s an excelent adhesive,,
