Default HomeBrewed CA Kicker???

I always seem to be out of kicker when I need it. I was wondering what chemicals can be used to get the job done? Anyone out their mixing their own kicker?????

Plain old baking soda (like used in the kitchen) will set off CA instantly. Just dust it on the joint..

Home brews may work ok but there is nothing as good as the real thing. When I get to about the half way point on one refill, I simply order another so I will never run out. At least that is the plan.

I used water with baking soda,,, but it always left a white residue that was a pain to get off
