Default A charging question!

I haven't flown for several years and am now getting my planes flight worthy again. I'm replacing my Rx & Tx battery packs with NiMH batteries. I would like to charge them quicker than the 50mA chargers I have, and do it without spending a bundle. My question is this. If I wire two of these 50mA chargers together in parallel, will it then charge at a rate of 100mA? This may sound like a stupid question to some, but I honestly don't know the answer. Thanks!

No, this will not work well if at all. If you want to experiment a bit and build your own, check out all the possibilties at http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/gadgets/gadgets.htm
There are several easily built constant current chargers.

Thanks for the reply and the link, I was afraid that was the answer that I would get. I found a charger online that charges at a rate of 130mA which should be perfect for charging overnight. Thanks again!

Be very careful with overcharging NiMH batteries, they wont handle it like Nicads. I think its probably a good idea to have a peak charger.
