Futaba battery with Spektrum receiver
I'm putting my parts from my trainer in another airplane. Can I use my 4.8 volt battery with the spektrum receiver?

Sure, voltage is voltage and amps are amps no matter who's name is on the battery.
The only concern might be capacity. What mAh rating does the battery have? Some Spektrum receivers can be sensitive to low voltage. If the battery is too small and drains too quickly, you could have problems.

600mAh is just A little on the small side. It will work but you better check the voltage before and after every flight or it could run out of steam on you.
I only use the small packs like that for weight savings on race planes I set up but they are only in the air for A couple of minutes at A time.
