Fix for a canopy which is yellowing with age?
Guys -
I have an old ARF (~5 years, hard to believe it has lasted this long) with two canopies (P-82). Both canopies are yellowing with age the plastic is getting darker. I guess this is a characteristic of cheap plastics. Has anyone tried to fix this by bleaching, or some other chemical means?
Thanks in advance!

you could try some of the headliight cleaners you can buy at auto parts stores. I think one is called plastx. only like 5 bucks and worth a try. They are a little abrasive as they are used for yellowing headlight lenses but I dont see how you can go wrong at this point.

I know it sounds crazy, but I have seem Awesome spray cleaner from the dollar store turn yellowed plastics clear not canopies, but still clear plastics.. That cleaner seems to clean things that nothing else can. You can try it for a buck, so what the hey....

Thanks guys.
I bought two new canopies.
When I get the old ones off, I'll try the Awesome cleaner, if I can find it.
Thanks again!
