Default 2cycle and 4 cycle output

Could someone help me with chart or conversion of 2 and 4 cycle engines when comparing output. If a model calls for a 1.50-1.80 4 stroke ie saito, how does that compare to a 1.35 2 stroke . ie Moki. Thanks in advance for the help.

Default RE: 2cycle and 4 cycle output

The golden rule is that a 4 cycle needs to be 1 1/2 times bigger than a 2 cycle. If the model wants a 40 2 cycle than a 60 4 cycle would be needed. As for comparing engine types and brands, it really is a case of personal prefrence. I have nothing other than OS 2 cycle engines and OS and Saito 4 cycle engines. I may be hard headed, but I would not think about changing. Good Luck, Dave
