printing decals
Does anybody know how to print off decals or photos. I photo shopped some nose art off of the internet and want to put it on my warbird. I am not sure what to use as it needs to adhere to the monocote. If anyone has suggestions or know who to go to I would appreciate it!

RE: printing decals
I use a print your own water slide decal paper put out by Bare-Metal Foil called Experts-Choice Decal. I use the ink jet white backed version of the stuff. I did all of the decals for my B-17 with it. They sell a clear backed paper but it really dosen't show up well on the model. What I had to do was print a background color that was as close a match to the color of the surface I was putting the decal on. It wasn't prefect but for my purposes it did well enough. Someone that has a better eye for color could probaly do better.

RE: printing decals
There is an article about this system in the January 2009 issue of Fly RC.
It is on page 52 and looks like a neat system.
Total cost is about $160 plus supplies.
I just got this issue from my subscription.
Not sure if the newstand has them yet.
Good Luck,
