props and plugs
I have an O.S. .46 and I am wondering will the LHS know what size prop and glow plugs it takes or do I need to get the broken prop and old plug to show them what I need?

props and plugs
Why don't you just tell them what size prop and plug you need? I have found the help at local hobby shops to not be of much "expert" help.
If you are are asking what prop here are some that your engine will pull but also dependso on your plane;
10x7 APC for speed
11x5 for thrust
11x6 for general all purpose flying
Plug: OS 3 or OS 8

.46 prop
Do you have the LA or the FX? If you have the manufacturers instruction manual for the engine they list the recommended props for various applications. The LA will do very well with the 10 x 6 and the FX does well with the 11 x 6 or 7 sizes and these are in the middle of those recommended by the factory. For lighter planes use the higher second numbers, ie 10 x 7 for the LA or the 11 x 8 for the Fx and for slower flight or hauling heavier planes around then go less on the pitch, ie 10 x 4 or 5 for the La and 11 x 5 for the FX. Check the manual when in doubt
